Run to the Edge!
The Applefest Scenic 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2011, starting at 8:30a.m. at Quillin's on Main Street in La Crescent, Minnesota.
Hilly, beautiful course through the “Apple Capital” of Minnesota. Long-sleeved t-shirt and a bag of local apples for all. Prize money for top three men and women, medals to top three in each age group.
Proceeds from this race will go to the La Crescent Foundation, La Crescent gymnastics for a new floor, Life-Long Active Living (provides students of La Crescent and Hokah area with exposure and skill development in life-long fitness opportunities), and toward two scholarships (one male and one female).
